May is the special month we dedicate to Mother Mary. She is Jesus' mother and our heavenly mother too.
Before Jesus died on the cross, he entrusted Mary to the Apostle John, to be his mother. In this way, Jesus has allowed us to call Mary our Mother too.
In our Catholic faith, we acknowledge that this is so. Let us pray with Mary to her Son Jesus, to have mercy on our world and to help us follow God more closely in our actions and in our words today.
Remember the devotional prayers we use when praying with Mary. The Rosary is one of the best prayers we can pray during this month of May, the special month dedicated to Mother Mary.
