Lent

Ash Wednesday 

Ash Wednesday falls on the 26th of February 2020.  This day marks the beginning of the Lenten Season.  

Lent lasts for 40 days.

Lent is a season of preparation.  Fasting, Prayer and Almsgiving.  This is our way to prepare for Easter.

The children are learning about the meaning of the Season of Lent and how they can prepare themselves by doing good things for others during the next 40 days.

We will join the community at St. Therese Church for Ash Wednesday mass at 9:15am.
