St. Mary MacKillop Feast Day - 8th August

We remember St. Mary MacKillop and all that she worked for.  We also remember this day the reason why she worked so hard on behalf of the poor children and families of her time.

Our school will celebrate her feast day with a mass at St. Therese church at 11:00am.  We invite all our parents to come and join us this day.

Happy Feast Day everyone!!!

Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross 2019

Once again, this event was a success this year.  We would like to say thank you to the parents who made time to walk The Way of the Cross with our students.

Due to the wet weather at the time, we held our Stations indoors.  Here are some images.

Holy Week Events

Holy Week at St. Mary MacKillop Catholic School

A and D Pods joined forces this year to create a Holy Week event that linked their learning.  We began with a Holy Week Liturgy presented by D Pod in the Wharenui.

We went outside to the courtyard for the A Pod children from Year 1 - 3 to present the stories of the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet.

Reconciliation

A Big Thank you goes out to our lovely parish priest: Father Anthony and all the priests that came along to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation with our children here at school.

Here are some images from our Reconciliation at school.
